A hidden gem in the Medina
We loved every minute. The room was immaculate, the staff treated us like family, and breakfast on the rooftop was unforgettable. Yes, the streets are narrow, but that's part of the charm.

Guests consistently describe Dar El Medina as a calm, beautifully restored riad in the heart of the Medina. The rooftop terrace, spotless rooms and warm staff come up again and again. A few mention that the old-town location means narrow streets and some early-morning noise, but almost everyone says it's worth it.

One of the cleanest places I've stayed in Tunis. Great location to explore the souks on foot. Knock half a point off for some morning noise from the street, but I'd book again.

The terrace alone is worth it. Staff helped us arrange everything. Wi-Fi was a little weak in our room but we barely used it.

Beautiful riad and very clean. Getting a taxi to the entrance is impossible because of the alleys — be ready to walk a bit with your bags. Still a solid book.
